The Gert Johan Coetzee bursary is awarded as a combined value of R345,000,00. Applicants will receive assistance for their tuition fees at the North West School of Design (NWSD) and study materials.
Successful bursary applicants will undertake their three years of studies at the North West School of Design, based in Klerksdorp. They are expected to finish at least 2 internship programmes at Gert Johan Coetzee’s studio.
Who Can Apply?
Applications must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
Fluent in English
South African citizen
Currently in Matric OR have completed Matric
Be able to begin with your studies in January at the North West School of Design
Willing to stay in Klerksdorp for 3 years while studying at the North West School of Design
You must have a personal laptop which meet the standards of the North West School of Design
Must have a good attitude with dedication, passion and drive
Must have a natural fashion instinct
Willing and able to work hard
