STANLIB BURSARY PROGRAMME

Stanlib offers bursaries under STANLIB Bursary Sponsorship Programme. Stanlib bursaries are aimed at tertiary level education to benefit previously disadvantaged students. Bursaries target student who study/want to study at any university in South Africa. The programme has been running since 2005, and has funded 42 students since inception.

ANGLO BURSARIES 2014

ANGLO COAL BURSARIES
Anglo Coal bursaries are offered to students who intend pursuing their tertiary education in any of South African universities. These bursaries are offered under Anglo American.

In order for you to be eligible for Anglo Coal Bursaries you need to be on matric or have passed your matric with at least C symbol for both Maths and Science.

We currently administer four bursary funds.

The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme

The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme is a multi-year programme that promotes teaching in public schools.
Full-cost bursaries are available to enable eligible students to complete a full teaching qualification in an area of national priority. Recipients of these bursaries will be required to teach at a public school for the same number of years that they receive the bursary.

PED BURSARIES 2014

 The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme is a multi-year programme that promotes teaching in public schools. Bursaries are available to enable eligible students to complete a full teaching qualification in an area of national priority. Recipients of the bursary will be required to teach at a school or provincial education department for the same number of years that they receive the bursary. Qualified recipients of the bursary can apply for appropriate public school positions with the provincial education department (PED) of their choice. The PED concerned will determine whether there is a suitable post available. If there is not, the applicant will be offered employment in a PED that does have suitable vacancies.
 

Bursary Admission Criteria


The bursary is only awarded to South African citizens. Applications will not be considered unless the applicant has a valid South African ID number. Applicants for the bursary must already have been accepted into an appropriate study programme at a recognized higher education institution. Read bursary details


SANSA BURSARY FOR 2014

The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) is offering bursaries for the 2014 academic year to students interested in pursuing a career in SANSA related fields and who aim to study full time towards a post graduate university degree in:
